Plus, my room was older than my grandmother's house, where's the upgrade I deserved? It’s surprising how a 'luxury' hotel can have such unvacuumed common areas and dainty little juicers that expect you to squeeze your own oranges. Disappointed, to say the least.

The hotel exudes charm, resembling a 17th-century hunting lodge. The breakfast buffet was not only enormous but offered variety throughout my eight-night stay. Enjoying the stunning mountain view each morning set a beautiful tone for the day and provided a perfect backdrop for our family time.
A few staff members had trouble communicating in English, which occasionally led to misunderstandings.
